A few words

Our Phoenix

Our Phoenix

The phoenix is a powerful symbol often associated with renewal, transformation, and resilience.

In the context of
She Who Soars,

the phoenix represents the journey of women rising above challenges, adversity, and limitations to emerge stronger, wiser, and more empowered.

Like the phoenix, women in the organization’s mentorship programs undergo personal growth, overcome obstacles, and experience transformation as they soar to new heights in their lives and careers. The symbol of the phoenix embodies the spirit of resilience, perseverance, and empowerment that She Who Soars aims to cultivate in women, inspiring them to rise above circumstances and thrive despite setbacks.

Our Phoenix

Symbolizes the resilience of women who triumph over obstacles, hardships, and constraints, emerging more empowered, insightful, and formidable.

Sarina Casarez

Mentor

Sarina Casarez is a mother of four amazing children and a fiancé to a wonderful man. She has spent the last 7 years in the Multifamily industry climbing in rank from a Leasing Consultant to Regional Property Manager.

Sarina is a domestic violence survivor, her journey demanded relentless perseverance until she found her freedom.  She was married by the age of 17, and had her first child at the age of 19. For the next five years, she silently suffered abuse and isolation, feeling inadequate and invisible.  Her isolation deepened as she sought to conceal her fear of making mistakes and facing repercussions afterward.  However, her life took a turn when she encountered a supportive group of empowered women who helped her reclaim her voice and freedom. Sarina will always cherish the impact these women had on her, empowering her to break free from her past and embrace her independence.

Now, Sarina dedicates herself to empowering women, guiding them to discover their voices and reclaim their power. Through her own journey of healing and empowerment, she offers support, understanding, and inspiration, serving as a beacon of hope for those seeking to break free from oppression and find their inner strength.
